When I first heard about the idea of going to Barcelona, the name that came to my mind was Gaudi. While strolling down the marvellous streets, I saw how big of an influence he was for the city’s architecture and how he managed to change its atmosphere.
Just by walking around the city I realised that almost all the buildings had some sort of organic shape, being somehow inspired by nature. It was beautiful to say the least.
We had 3 days to explore Barcelona but we made the best out of it. We rented bikes and rode around the city, explored the Gothic Quarter, admired Gaudi’s masterpieces (La Pedrera, Park Güell, Casa Batlló, Sagrada Família), waited for the sunset on Montjuïc, admired the fountains at MNAC, went shopping and so on.
As usual, it wouldn’t have been an amazing trip without having the camera by my side almost all the time (even while riding the bicycle). I have to admit, I never took as many photographs on a trip as I did in Barcelona. But I couldn’t help myself. It was just too beautiful to be true. Funny enough, I’m already looking up for universities in Barcelona.
Excuse me for the big number of photographies but I couldn’t resist to show you Barcelona’s allure as much as possible.

Since I post weekly, I decided to add something new to all of my posts. That is, “song of the week”. I’m obsessed with music as we all are and I love finding as many artists as possible. Sooo here it is:
